1. Record a path, not a secret
List the account provider and official sign-in or recovery address, along with where to find its help. Do not write passwords, authentication codes or recovery codes in this public worksheet, a support email or a message-board post.
Choose an appropriate private method for sensitive recovery material according to the provider’s guidance. A public HTML sheet is not encrypted and is not a substitute for secure storage.
2. Review provider-supported recovery
Google’s compromised-account guidance covers account recovery, reviewing security activity and devices, and strengthening access protections. Apple’s guidance covers its official password and recovery processes, account details and unfamiliar devices. Follow the actual provider process rather than a third party promising instant access.
While signed in through a trusted path, check that your recovery methods are current. Recovery may require verification or a waiting period; this worksheet cannot bypass those controls.

3. Rehearse finding the help
During normal conditions, locate the official help address from the card without following an unexpected message. Confirm who can help if your usual phone is unavailable. Do not simulate a compromise by sharing secrets, disabling protections or repeatedly failing sign-in.
Review the card when a provider, number or trusted device changes. If you suspect an incident, use the official instructions to review sessions and access rather than posting account details for public diagnosis. Record what remains unresolved and seek the provider’s support.
